Back from the dead again, only to disappear right after this... I do want to eventually start uploading again; it's been years. Anyway... In my opinion, the whole "watchers only" deviations are a bit odd to me. Like I suppose it's MUCH better than what old DA had where people could put their art in storage, and then no one could see it at all instead of maybe just deleting it. I see no purpose in the option because of how easy people can bypass it. If someone wants to see the art piece, they can just click the watch button, view it, then unwatch right after. And if they plan to favorite it, but not watch, then they could do it again if they want to see it again. Also, with the watchers only option, it seems that the artist is subtly begging for watchers. Like "oh, you want to see this? You gotta watch me first :)." Even though they could just let it happen naturally like always: Making art and people will just happen to flock to them. So far, I've only seen one person complain
